Condominium unit type that is perfect for you!

Studio type is not the only type of condominium available in the market, nor one-two bedrooms types. There are more to see. Other types may include loft, bi-level and penthouse. But the question is why do you need to know these types? Will they bring any good? Or just a bunch of waste stuff?

Knowing and understanding which type of Philippine condominium unit for sale is an essential factor you should take into consideration. This will help you to determine how much

  • money you need to prepare
  • living space you can use
  • your new home will complement your life style

How do you know what type fits your needs and wants? Here I listed down each type of condominium unit and why you should choose one from the other.

Flat Level

This type is equivalent to a bungalow houses where all rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, dining area, kitchen, and living room) are all located on the same level. There is no upper room and basement. This is perfect for you if you are moving in with kids and/or elderlies like grandma and grandpa.

Flat level units are basically categorized into two types - studio and number of bedrooms.

Studio Type

Studio types, also known as studio flat in UK, are a small unit which combines living room, bedroom and kitchenette into a single room. These kinds of condo units typically consist of one large room which serves as the living, dining and bedroom. Kitchen facilities may be located in the central room or in a small separate room and the shower is usually in its own smaller room. It has the smallest floor size among all types, which make it the most affordable. Believe it or not, studio type condominiums for sale in the Philippines can be small as 16 square meters.

To maximize this unit, you may use multifunctional furniture, like a bed with storage underneath or folding chairs that can be stored in the corner when not in use to save space making the room look bigger.

Number of Bedroom Types

This is perfect for families who want to have privacy. It offers a larger living area where everyone will enjoy. Children will have their own room (for two bedroom types). This is like the typical house.

Before buying a condo unit of this type, make sure to plan what or how many number of rooms do you need. Cost of two bedroom type is much higher than of one.

Multi-Level Type

Eye popping? I bet you didn’t know that condo types of multi-level exist. These condominium units mimic common two-storey house. Expect though that this unit is more expensive than the flat level since additional structures. There are also different types of multi-level condos.

Loft

This is very unconventional design, mostly featured in condominium communities with high ceilings, is where the usual bedroom is found. It is like having your attic inside the unit. It is a great option for people who want an airy and non-constricting space to relax or sleep in. Just keep in mind that this is not ideal for elders and for those people that have issues in walking.

Bi-level

It features are similar to that of a house with a second floor. Normally bedrooms are placed on the second floor and on the ground floor are the living room, dining area, bathroom and kitchen. It is like a two-storey house placed inside a building.

Penthouse

Typically this type of unit is found on the highest floor of a condominium building. They are the most expensive units because they offer larger floor areas plus the luxury and privacy offered to tenants. Penthouses can be flat leveled or multi-leveled. Some units may have their own pool, elevators and other exclusive amenities.

Check this all out before buying a unit. Consider your future too if you are single today. Soon you will have your family and studio types may not be a great investment. You can also check the benefits of condominium living in the Philippines and other features you may want to consider.
